Tour de France

To celebrate Velux's presence at the Tour de France, we created Chasing the Light, a series of three films where hyperreal digital worlds meet the everyday magic of daylight.

Chasing the Light was born from a simple observation: Velux windows don't just let light in, they let people witness the world differently.

The Tour de France, seen through the light that fills every home.

The Tour de France, with its scale and spectacle, offered the perfect counterpart, a race that is as much about landscape and light as it is about speed.

We built on that connection, blurring the line between documentary realism and pure imagination, so that each film feels both entirely believable and impossible at the same time.

The three films share a single visual language, one where hyperrealistic digital environments are crafted with the same care as a live-action shoot. Every frame, from the sunflower fields to the bending corridors of a home, was designed to hold up to close scrutiny, so the surreal never feels artificial.

A journey through daylight, from open countryside to the rooftops of Paris.

Here you can check the three videos :

Tour to the Sky - Cyclists rise above golden sunflower fields as families watch the race unfold through their rooftop windows, a dreamlike prologue where the Tour becomes pure light.

Le Tour at Home - Inside a sun-drenched house, architecture bends into impossible curves as riders race through corridors and ceilings, turning daylight itself into a track.

Rooftop Finale - As the Tour reaches Paris, cyclists glide across the skyline while the city looks up through its Velux windows, closing the chase in one shared urban spectacle.
