Curious Postcards - Introducing AI for an event activation in Venice Beach , is a project that blends artificial intelligence and travel to create custom, surreal postcards inspired by real destinations.
Developed in partnership with Away as part of their campaign “Extraordinary Is Out There,” the project invites travelers to rethink the boundary between imagination and reality, showing that the most extraordinary landscapes generated by AI often have real-world counterparts waiting to be explored.

Using a custom-built, combinatory prompt system developed under our creative direction, each participant generated a unique AI-created postcard - a dreamlike landscape that felt fantastical yet remained grounded in the richness, diversity, and beauty of real places around the world.
The experience began with a series of questions designed to capture each visitor’s preferences, sensibilities, and curiosity. From visual moods and atmospheres to textures, lighting, colors, and architectural or natural references, these inputs became the foundation for bespoke landscapes
At the core of Curious Postcards is the idea that AI is not a replacement for travel, but a catalyst for desire and discovery. Using machine learning as image-generation tool, we produced an infinite range of visual outcomes, ensuring that no two postcards were ever the same.
More than an AI-driven art installation, Curious Postcards is a collaborative exploration between human imagination and machine intelligence.
